An Irish native, Emer has been living and working in the US for nearly 3 years. Previous to that she worked with both the Online team and also the Creative Leadership team at the BBC in London for nearly a decade, tasked with raising the levels of creativity in both programme and content teams. During her 10 years at the BBC, Emer designed and delivered bespoke creativity training and visioning sessions for brands such as Doctor Who, Top Gear, the Olympics, iPlayer, the Commonwealth Games and Cbeebies (BBC Children’s channel). Emer lives with her husband Al in Virginia.
